Sales Director – Subscriptions, Advertising & Sponsorships

<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Director to lead revenue growth across <em>Cablefax</em> and the <em>Chief Marketer Network</em>. This role will be responsible for driving subscription sales and advertising partnerships for <em>Cablefax</em>, as well as sponsorship sales for the Chief Marketer Networks prestigious awards programs. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in integrated B2B media sales and the ability to craft solutions that deliver value for clients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Cablefax - Subscriptions</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and execute strategies to grow individual and enterprise subscriptions.</li><li>Identify and target key accounts in cable, broadband, and media sectors.</li><li>Build long-term subscriber relationships by demonstrating the value of <em>Cablefax</em>’s editorial insights and market intelligence.</li></ul><p><strong>Cablefax - Advertising</strong></p><ul><li>Sell integrated advertising opportunities across digital, print, newsletters, and event platforms.</li><li>Create customized advertising solutions including display, branded content, webinars, and special reports.</li><li>Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development to closing and renewals.</li></ul><p><strong>Chief Marketer Network - Awards Sponsorships</strong></p><ul><li>Lead sales of sponsorship opportunities tied to Chief Marketer’s awards programs, including but not limited to PRN Platinum, AdExchanger Awards, PR Impact, Top Women in Media, Top Women in Ad Tech, FOLIO, and Top Women in Marketing.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing and events teams to design packages that maximize sponsor visibility and ROI.</li><li>Build relationships with marketing leaders, agencies, and solution providers seeking brand alignment with award-winning excellence.</li></ul><p><strong>General Sales Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets across all three business lines.</li><li>Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and provide accurate forecasting.</li><li>Represent <em>Cablefax</em> and <em>Chief Marketer</em> at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.</li><li>Partner with editorial, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables.</li><li>Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to strengthen market positioning.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.</li><li>5-7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in media, events, or marketing services.</li><li>Proven success in subscription, advertising, and sponsorship sales.</li><li>Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Ability to develop trusted relationships with senior executives, CMOs, and marketing decision-makers.</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple revenue streams and priorities.</li><li>Strong organizational and forecasting skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>About AI</p><p>Our People Are Our Strength</p><p><br></p><p>At Access Intelligence, we create exceptional experiences that ignite connection and commerce.
