[Remote] National Sales Manager, Wholesale

The role leads wholesale strategy, national account growth, forecasting, channel management, and team development while coordinating with marketing, sales, digital, and business units to improve customer experience and operational execution. Responsibilities Craft and execute tailored account strategies that align with company objectives and account needs Monitor account performance using data-driven insights to optimize inventory, merchandising, and promotional strategies Build long-term, trust-based relationships with buyers, planners, and decision-makers Define long term (3-5 years) sales strategies to deliver consistent revenue and share growth of wholesale accounts Analyze performance and offer actionable insights to maximize sell-through efficiency and channel performance Lead forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting efforts for national channel performance Translate market data and account performance metrics into strategic actions and optimization plans Mentor and lead a high-performing team—including account managers to drive accountability and results Uphold a culture of excellence, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment Stay informed of market trends, industry shifts, and competitor activity to ensure account strategies remain relevant and proactive Embed customer insights derived from high-touch engagement to refine offerings and position strategically Collaborate with the marketing team on a demand generation and performance marketing strategy to support the channel Collaborate with the sales team and individual BUs to establish SIOP and ensure proper execution across demand planning, purchasing, stocking and OTD Work with the digital team to integrate operational insights (order status, inventory, delivery, etc.) into digital tools and platforms that add value to our customers Skills Bachelor's degree Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B Wholesale / Distribution management Minimum of 5 years leading a team of National Sales associates in Plumbing industry Proven track record of driving national account share gains and margin improvements Hands-on experience implementing customer experience transformation in large, complex manufacturing environments Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills True passion for delivering a world class experience for our customers High degree of interpersonal and organizational savvy to the role, with the ability to navigate large accounts effectively while gaining buy in from multiple stakeholders across the organization Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Proactive problem solver, detail-oriented and strong degree of accountability Experience working in a high growth and agile environment Ability to motivate and inspire their team Advanced degree preferred Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life Insurance Matching 401(k) Contribution Health Savings Account Up to 3 weeks starting Vacation (may increase with tenure) 12 Paid Holidays Annual Bonus Eligibility Educational Reimbursement Matching Gift Program Employee Stock Purchase Plan – purchase company stock at a discount!
