Vulnerability Management Analyst (Immediate Start Date)
Vulnerability Management Analyst x 2 - Fully Remote - Early September/Immediate start - INSIDE IR35 Job Description Our UK based client are looking to onboard 2 x Vulnerability Management Analyst's in early September to join a wider project team on a rolling contract basis.
This role provides specialist and analytical support to an established vulnerability management function within a large enterprise environment. You will help manage an increased volume of vulnerability-related queries across the business. Candidates must be able to get started within the next 2-3 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational and analytical support to the vulnerability management team in a large enterprise environment.
- Analyse vulnerability data from Qualys or similar vulnerability scanning tools to identify issues, trends and areas of concern.
- Assess vulnerabilities within the security estate
- Support risk-based vulnerability management.
- Produce and maintain vulnerability SLA reporting.
- Track remediation progress end-to-end.
- Validate vulnerability findings that are uncovered.
- Investigate and resolve potential false positives, working closely with technical teams.
- Review and explain vulnerability data clearly.
- Analyse vulnerability trends.
- Strong experience in vulnerability management within large enterprise environments.
- Proven experience analysing vulnerability data from Qualys or similar vulnerability scanning tools.
- Hands-on experience with risk-based vulnerability management approaches.
- experience validating vulnerability findings and investigating risks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain vulnerability data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
