Customer Service Representatives

Capita Pensions Solutions are looking for Customer Service Representatives to join our established team and on a permanent basis.

Our Pensions team deal with incoming calls from a wide range of members and their beneficiaries regarding their pension. You will be part of a specialist and knowledgeable team supporting with various pension enquiries. You will get involved in a wide variety of calls, it’s never a boring day here!

This is a remote role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shift patterns between the core hours of 8.30am to 6pm, there’s no evenings or weekends, for a salary of £24,043.50.

Start date will be 23rd February 2026.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking a high volume of inbound calls from a wide range of members and their beneficiaries.
  • After your in-depth training period you will be able to handle a wide range of queries within agreed service levels.
  • Working in your team, you’ll be supported and encouraged by your Team Manager to develop your skills within a fast paced environment.
  • Your training will be virtual and very comprehensive to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to handle every call efficiently.

What we’re looking for (ALL ESSENTIAL AND MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR CV):

  • Proven call centre experience - working with AWS.
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to display empathy and know how to build and maintain a strong rapport with members.
  • Great passion for customer service with the ability to resolve queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and use your initiative.
  • Knowledge and experience of pensions (advantageous but NOT essential).

  • If you have a valid passport: a digital ID verification will be completed as part of your pre‑employment checks.
  • If you don’t have a valid passport, or you opt out of the digital ID verification process: you’ll need to travel to one of our designated Capita offices as part of your ID verification checks before we can confirm your start date. At the office, your ID will be checked and signed off by a designated manager.
