MISSION

The PR Manager for Northern Europe (covering the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia) will lead the planning and execution of local events and media relations to amplify brand visibility and reputation. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on implementation, aiming to strengthen brand presence, increase awareness, and build lasting relationships with key media, influencers, and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Local Event Coordination

  • Plan and execute local events in line with HQ marketing guidelines, including test drives, product launches, co-marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure all events are brand-aligned, engaging, and flawlessly delivered, with the goal of driving brand awareness and deepening customer engagement.

Public Relations Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key automotive and lifestyle media across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia (approx. 90% automotive, 10% lifestyle).
  • Develop compelling press materials—such as press releases, media pitches, and backgrounders—that effectively convey the brand’s values, positioning, and initiatives.

Key City Activations

  • Strategically plan and implement high-impact brand activations in key urban centers to enhance visibility, generate buzz, and foster meaningful consumer connections.

Budget Oversight

  • Manage and optimize the local PR and events budget, ensuring cost-effective execution of all activities while maximizing reach and ROI.

Global PR Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic link between the local markets and HQ/Regional teams to ensure alignment, share best practices, and drive integrated PR efforts on both local and international levels.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Economics.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in similar or related roles within PR, communications, or marketing.
  • Proven track record in the automotive sector is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing high-impact, brand-aligned events.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively balance multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of budget management and financial planning.
  • Proficiency with key digital tools and software for PR, event coordination, and media outreach.
  • Creative thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for brand storytelling.
  • Native-level fluency in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
