Job Title: Part-Time Passenger Assistant

Salary: £560 - £860 per month (route dependent)

Hours: 12.5 to 20 per week (varies by route)

Role location: Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Loughborough, Coalville

Responsibilities

  • Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
  • Work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company
  • Establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, carers/parents, and key contacts at the establishments attended
  • Assist the driver in company-supplied vehicles, including cars, 8-seat people carriers, and large wheelchair-accessible vehicles
  • Be patient and empathic with passengers and keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys

What You Need

  • Pass an enhanced criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • First aid training and willingness to undergo advanced specialist medical training

This role involves driving children (Child Workforce LW 9) and conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability (Adult Workforce LW 12).
