This role offers the chance to work on a cutting‑edge B2B e‑commerce marketplace, contributing to its redesign, feature expansion, and data migration using modern WordPress technologies. You will play a key role in developing scalable, maintainable solutions while collaborating closely with a cross‑functional team of developers, QA, and project managers. The position emphasizes hands‑on development across PHP, WordPress, WooCommerce, and AWS, as well as integrations with third‑party platforms like Shopify and advanced search tools. Ideal candidates are highly skilled, proactive, and comfortable participating in both development and DevOps processes. You will operate in an agile environment with sprint‑based delivery cycles, delivering high‑quality solutions that directly impact the platform’s growth and user experience. This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility and autonomy within a collaborative team.

Accountabilities

  • Participate in all stages of development and DevOps processes, from initial planning to final rollout.
  • Develop and maintain the WordPress/WooCommerce/Dokan marketplace, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Implement new features, including advanced search functionality, Shopify integrations, and internal tools.
  • Collaborate with project managers, QA, and fellow developers to deliver high‑quality solutions on schedule.
  • Migrate data from existing platforms while ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain platform stability and user experience.

Requirements

  • Strong Middle/Senior WordPress Developer with 5+ years of experience in PHP, WordPress, JS, and jQuery.
  • 3+ years of experience with WooCommerce and hands‑on experience integrating advanced search solutions (Elastic, Algolia).
  • Experience with Shopify integration and AWS cloud services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with B2B WordPress plugins such as Dokan is a plus.
  • Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency; fluent Ukrainian preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively within agile teams.
