Job Summary

Your mechanical aptitude and experience with warehouse management systems will help streamline our inventory flow.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques
  • Manage stock levels through accurate picking, packing, stocking, and inventory control procedures
  • Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records in real-time
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet safety and quality standards before dispatch or storage
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipment details, preparing labels, and organizing packages for dispatch
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the warehouse
  • Perform routine mechanical maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions promptly
Skills
  • Proven experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, and warehouse operations
  • Proficiency with forklift operation and certification preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and prolonged standing or walking
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
  • Attention to detail for quality control checks and accurate order picking & packing
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
