Location: Derby
Pay Rate: £14.14 - £17.15 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm

Shift Options Available:

  • AM Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm | £14.14 per hour
  • PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm | £14.14 per hour from 2:00pm - 8:00pm | £17.15 per hour from 8:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am | £17.15 per hour

Shift Patterns Available:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Tuesday to Saturday
  • Sunday to Thursday

HLOP Drivers Required - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Quest Employment are currently recruiting HLOP Drivers to join a busy warehouse operation based in Derby.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking for long-term work, weekly pay and the chance to secure a permanent position. We are looking for candidates who are already experienced HLOP Drivers, or experienced FLT Drivers who are willing to be trained to become HLOP Drivers.

The Role

As a HLOP Driver, your duties may include:

  • Operating a High Level Order Picker safely and efficiently
  • Picking and replenishing stock within the warehouse
  • Moving goods to the correct storage locations
  • Supporting general warehouse duties when required
  • Working safely at height using the correct safety equipment
  • Following all site health and safety procedures
  • Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily targets

Training Process

Successful candidates will complete a structured training process before moving onto the permanent site.

Week 1 - Training
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Week 2 - Training
Sunday to Thursday, 4:00pm - Midnight

Week 3 - Transition to Permanent Site
Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Week 4 Onwards - Permanent Shift Pattern
Permanent shift pattern confirmed based on the shift option agreed.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have previous HLOP driving experience, or FLT experience with willingness to train on HLOP
  • Hold a valid HLOP licence or accredited MHE qualification, desirable
  • Are comfortable working at height using the correct safety equipment
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Are reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Can work well as part of a team
  • Have a flexible approach to warehouse duties
  • Are looking for a long-term opportunity

Own transport is highly desirable due to the location of the site and limited public transport links.
