We currently have an exciting opportunity for a “Volume Planner” to join our Logistics Department

With this role the hours are: 7 am - 3pm Monday to Friday weekend working around sat 3 hours, 7-10.30am ( 1 in 3 WFH) Some Christmas working.

Purpose of Role:

  • Daily reporting requirements
  • Working with the wider team on tasks related to forecasting.
  • Depot goods in planning.
  • Enhance processes and develop the role.
  • Collating and analysing data to plan future events such as Christmas and Easter requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide timely reporting to the wider department.
  • Analysing data to support forecasting of depot pick operations of up to 5m cases per week
  • Ensure clear communication of depot forecasts.
  • Accurate goods in planning, including utilisation projections.
  • Liaising with depot teams and supply chain counterparts.

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • High level of numeracy ability.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of Supply Chain & Logistics principals.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Results orientated.
  • Logical and analytical approach.
