As the first and last face our guests see, the Host plays a vital role in creating a standout experience from the moment they walk through the door. You’ll bring warmth, confidence, and impeccable organisation to every shift: welcoming guests, managing bookings, coordinating smooth arrivals and departures, and keeping the venue buzzing with good vibes and great flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome every guest with warmth, energy, and confidence
  • Manage the booking system and guest list with attention to detail
  • Communicate expected wait times, table availability, and venue layout
  • Proactively monitor guest movement and adjust flow where needed
  • Act as the point of contact for bookings, walk-ins, and special occasions
  • Liaise with FOH team to ensure tables are guest-ready and properly turned over
  • Support queue management and minimise guest wait times
  • Handle guest queries or concerns professionally and positively
  • Keep the host stand organised and presentable at all times
  • Assist with cloakroom duties and guest belongings when required
  • Keep a calm head and a smile during busy periods


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Friendly, confident, and articulate communicator
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple bookings at once
  • Calm under pressure with a guest-first attitude
  • Naturally warm and welcoming with excellent people skills
