Position: Toddler Room Leader

Location: Worthing

Salary: Up to £31,000 per year pro rata depending on hours and experience

Hours: 4-5 days per week

Holidays: 31 days (including Bank Holidays)

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of your room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Mentor and support your team, encouraging their professional development and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and support each child’s development and well-being, creating individual learning plans as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above).
  • Proven experience in a nursery setting, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • A passion for early childhood education and helping children reach their full potential.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
