Warehouse Operative - Temporary<br><strong>Location:</strong> Midlothian, EH22 2NE<br><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> £12.71 per hour<br><strong>Working Hours</strong>: <strong>Monday - Thursday:</strong> 8:00am - 3:45pm<br><strong>Friday:</strong> 8:00am - 2:00pm<br><br><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP<br><strong>Duration:</strong> Temporary, with potential to continue until Christmas<br><br>We are currently recruiting on behalf of a <strong>third-party client</strong> for a reliable and hardworking <strong>Warehouse Operative</strong> to join their team on a temporary basis.<br><br>Candidates with <strong>forklift training or experience</strong> would be ideal. However, forklift experience is not essential, as the role also involves a range of general warehouse and production duties.<br><br><strong>Please note: this is a heavy lifting role.</strong><br><br>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Breaking down pallets and handling stock<br><br></li><li>Recording and checking items accurately<br><br></li><li>Storing products safely and efficiently<br><br></li><li>Carrying out general warehouse duties<br><br></li><li>Supporting general production activities as required<br><br></li><li>Loading, unloading and moving stock<br><br></li><li>Maintaining a clean and organised working area<br><br></li><li>Following health and safety procedures<br><br></li><li>Working flexibly and assisting with other duties as required<br><br></li></ul>The ideal candidate will have:<br><ul><li>Previous warehouse experience, which would be beneficial<br><br></li><li>Forklift training or experience, which would be highly advantageous<br><br></li><li>The ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling<br><br></li><li>A reliable and punctual approach to work<br><br></li><li>Good attention to detail when recording and checking items<br><br></li><li>The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team<br><br></li><li>A flexible approach to duties</li></ul>
