ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Support Trainer. The Technical Support Trainer will be the first point of contact for technical support and technical learning for UK and Irish installers of BYD Battery-Box products. The role is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating technical training programs, including facilitating sessions, providing both customer and internal team support, and ensuring installers and customers are equipped to use energy solutions effectively.

The role demands resolving technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining an ongoing commitment to excellence in product knowledge and client interactions. Travel to site will be required to support clients with their first installations as part of their training, and also in selected technical support cases.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Customer Support and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in Technical Support and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Strong skills in Communication and relationship management with customers and teams
  • Ability to design and deliver Technical Training programs to diverse audiences
  • High level of commitment to delivering a quality user experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel to installer and client sites across the UK and Ireland to support first installations and provide on-site technical support
  • Familiarity with energy storage systems or renewable energy technologies is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Education, or a related field is preferred
