My income tax!” – Nat King Cole </em></strong><br><br>Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established Chartered Accountancy practice based in North London, which is looking to recruit a Tax Semi-Senior to join its growing tax team.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with practice experience who is looking to develop their technical knowledge, broaden their client exposure and progress their career within a supportive accountancy environment.<br><br><strong>The Role</strong><br>Working closely with the Tax Managers and wider accounts team, you will support a varied portfolio of clients across a range of tax compliance and advisory matters.<br><br><strong>Your key responsibilities as the Tax Semi-Senior will include:</strong><br><ul><li>Preparing personal and corporation tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients.</li><li>Assisting with the preparation of tax computations and supporting schedules.</li><li>Supporting the team with a range of personal and corporate tax compliance work.</li><li>Assisting with client queries and providing clear, practical responses to routine tax matters.</li><li>Liaising with clients to obtain relevant information and documentation.</li><li>Supporting senior members of the team with more complex tax assignments and ad hoc tax planning matters.</li><li>Keeping client records and tax information up to date and ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines.</li><li>Keeping up to date with changes to UK tax legislation and HMRC requirements.</li><li>Working collaboratively with colleagues across accounts and tax to deliver a high-quality service.</li><li>Developing strong client relationships and gaining increasing responsibility as your experience grows.<br><br></li></ul><strong>The successful Tax Semi-Senior will ideally have:</strong><br><ul><li>Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice.</li><li>Good knowledge of personal and/or corporate taxation.</li><li>Experience preparing tax returns and supporting tax compliance assignments.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.</li><li>Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients.</li><li>Ideally, be ATT qualified or studying towards ATT, ACA or ACCA, although candidates qualified by relevant experience will also be considered.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What's on Offer:</strong><ul><li>Competitive salary dependent on experience</li><li>Varied portfolio of clients</li><li>Broad exposure to personal and corporate tax</li><li>Supportive and collaborative working environment</li><li>Professional development and career progression opportunities<br><br></li></ul>If you're an experienced Tax Semi-Senior looking for your next opportunity within a well-established North London accountancy practice, we'd love to hear from you.<br><br><strong>Apply today or contact Sheridan Maine for further information.<br><br></strong>You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.<br> <br>Due to the high volume of applications, it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
