Tier 1 Software Licensing Knowledge (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, RedHat and SUSE) Experience delivering ELP’s using multiple data sources The SAM Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the IT Software Assets across the estate are managed and controlled in an effective, efficient and secure manner. You will be accountable for licensing activities and will ensure purchases are made in the most effective manner whilst remaining compliant with legal and licencing obligations. The role primarily focusses on purchased entitlements, deployments, risk management and governance. Answering Tier 1 Licensing Knowledge queries (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, RedHat and SUSE) Ensuring software license entitlement information is loaded accurately and clauses are fully understood Responsible for operating and maintaining SAM policies, process and standards Contributing to an ongoing reduction of risk through reducing renewal costs, identifying cost saving opportunities and providing an insight into license utilisation and spend.
