Sr. GoHighLevel Automator (N8N, API, etc.)

Experienced Automator Wanted!:

We’re looking for an experienced Automation Specialist to build, maintain, and improve the automations that power our marketing systems and those of our Members.

You’ll work primarily inside our HQ platform, along with tools like Zapier, to ensure smooth operations and fulfillment of work requests.

If you love clean logic, well-documented workflows, and seeing complex processes run smoothly because of your work, you’ll find a great fit here.

This role blends problem-solving, systems thinking, and quality control. You’ll translate business needs into reliable automations, test them diligently, and monitor performance to ensure our Members—such as entrepreneurs and business owners—receive a seamless experience from lead capture to post-sales follow-up.

You’ll collaborate closely with support, web, development, and operations teams, understanding when to address issues independently, when to escalate, and how to communicate progress transparently to members.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete automation projects for both our members and internal teams, designing workflows that enhance results and streamline operations.

  • Build and maintain automation workflows for lead nurturing, pipeline management, calendar integrations, and more.

  • Configure integrations and webhooks using tools like Zapier to connect various systems and third-party applications.

  • Manage pipelines to ensure efficient lead progression and timely notifications.

  • Set up and optimize workflows for LinkedIn lead integration into HQ with appropriate tagging and follow-ups.

  • Develop post-sales call follow-up sequences to maintain prospect engagement.

  • Configure custom domains for improved email deliverability.

  • Organize contact and tagging structures for effective data management.

  • Thoroughly test each automation in a controlled environment before going live.

  • Monitor live automations for performance and reliability, making improvements where necessary.

  • Communicate clearly with members and escalate issues to the appropriate teams when needed.

  • Keep thorough documentation and organization using tools like Trello to ensure team accessibility and continuity.

Daily Workflow

  • Review automation tickets to handle new requests and troubleshoot issues.

  • Design and update workflows based on member needs and internal standards.

  • Configure Zapier automations and webhooks to integrate internal and external tools.

  • Conduct structured testing to validate the effectiveness of new or updated automations.

  • Monitor key automations and dashboards for errors or inefficiencies.

  • Maintain data integrity through regular cleaning and updates.

  • Document changes and new workflows to support team knowledge and transparency.

Required Skills

  • A strong understanding of automation logic, including triggers and conditions.

  • Excellent attention to detail for identifying broken logic or inconsistencies.

  • Competency with technical tools such as CRMs and integration platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and enjoyment in debugging complex issues.

  • Clear English communication skills for documentation and member interaction.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under deadlines.

  • A proactive approach to testing before deployment and monitoring post-launch.

  • Communicates respectfully and transparently with team members and clients.

  • A strong sense of ownership—monitoring, refining, and improving workflows continuously.

Preferred Experience

  • Extensive experience with range of CRM or marketing automation platforms like GoHighLevel, Keap, or HubSpot.

  • Proficiency with integration platforms such as Zapier.

  • Experience with ticketing or support systems like Freshdesk.

  • Familiarity with project management tools like Trello.

  • Understanding of email deliverability and domain configuration.

  • Knowledge of payment automation systems and APIs.

  • Experience ensuring data hygiene, such as deduplication and validation.
