Karwan Strikers is looking for a Physiotherapist with DHA license

Main Responsibilities-

Principal duties Squad Physiotherapist

• Provide a first class physiotherapy service to all Karwan Strikers UAE contracted professional squad players, Karwan Strikers UAE, emerging and age group players as directed, aiming to meet the standards set by the Karwan Strikers UAE Development team.
• Provide match day/training day cover for home grounds and selected away team fixtures, Academy fixtures and development team fixtures throughout the year this could include international travel.
• Personally provide physiotherapy to teams to cover during selected match days, training days, overseas tours and any other necessary days required to ensure all injuries are managed effectively.
• Readily available to travel and stay overnight/s with selected team.
• Ensuring efficient communication of player injury status between teams.
• Ensure all injuries are appropriately documented using the online profiler system.
• Assist in undertake musculo-skeletal screening and injury risk profiling in conjunction with the Coaches during the season.
• Assist in the club’s Injury Prevention and Management Strategy.
• Provide injury reports when required for both the Development team and coaching staff.

Secondary duties include-
• Lead team warm ups, supervised gym training sessions and recovery sessions when required mainly.

• Qualifications and experience required for this role: Essential Graduate qualifications in Physiotherapy
• DHA Registered
• Valid Full Driving Licence
• Advanced life support and trauma training certificate within the past two years
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Computer literacy, including MS office, excel and performance analysis software Desirable
• Previous experience of working in a sporting environment
• Working experience and knowledge in the support and preparation of developing sports injury prevention/rehabilitation
• Experience in the preparation and delivery of Karwan Strikers UAE workshops and presentations to both colleagues and professional peer.
