Your Mission 

The Social Media Marketing Manager is a hands-on digital marketing leader responsible for executing global digital marketing initiatives that support SOPHiA GENETICS’ brand visibility and inbound demand generation goals.

This role works with many different departments and areas of the organization, but partners closely with field marketing, product management, sales, and content teams to operationalize global strategy into measurable digital campaigns, optimized customer journeys, web experiences, and performance-driven marketing programs.

The role will focus on operational efficiency, implementation excellence, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to drive qualified inbound traffic, engagement, and lead generation.

Corporate Social Media Management

  • Own the daily editorial planning process: review industry news, curate internal updates, and manage the content calendar across LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.
  • Write compelling social copy and brief design teams or agencies for visual assets aligned to brand standards.
  • Track daily engagement metrics and adjust timing or messaging to optimize performance.

Executive LinkedIn & Thought Leadership

  • Monitor the CEO's LinkedIn profile daily, prioritizing high-value responses to partners, investors, and KOLs.
  • Ghostwrite thought leadership posts rooted in podcast episodes, industry developments, internal events, and direct requests — proactively driving the Research Spotlight series.

Digital Campaigns, SEO/AEO & Website Optimization

  • Conduct quarterly content reviews to optimize top-performing pages for traditional SEO and emerging Answer Engine Optimization (AEO/AI Search) standards.
  • Align social media promotion schedules with the Digital Director's paid media campaigns.
  • Support digital campaigns and DDM™ announcements with SEO-aligned copy and metadata.

Requirements

  • Degree level educated or equivalent in digital marketing, web design, communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience working in international organizations preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, SaaS, or molecular diagnostics strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and marketing automation platforms (Pardot preferred).
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads Certified.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools and keyword research platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising platforms.
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA preferred).
  • Experience with an ABM platform a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience building and optimizing digital campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Solid understanding of marketing automation and lead lifecycle management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams.
