We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager based in London with a genuine passion for music and pop culture. This role offers a unique opportunity to own and grow the Amazon Music brand in Italy through our social media platforms (primarily Meta and TikTok, with testing on YouTube). The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media -chronically online, always the first to spot a trend, and deeply understands what makes people stop scrolling. They will have a proven track record of using social media to increase brand engagement and reach, strong creative and analytical abilities, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work alongside regional and global counterparts to devise and execute a local social strategy. The ideal candidate is known for creativity and innovation but also for rigorous testing, measurement and iteration to improve results continuously, and has the entrepreneurial spirit and bias for action needed to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Key job responsibilities


* Shape social marketing, content and creative strategy locally with a focus on growing engagement and reach across key platforms (primarily Meta and TikTok) with testing on YouTube.
* Manage the day-to-day running of Amazon Music social media channels in the UK, including posting, boosting, monitoring and moderation.
* Work internally with the Amazon Music UK team, in particular the wider industry and editorial teams, to identify locally relevant ways to grow Amazon Music.
* Guide the creation of social media assets and visual identity of owned channels.
* Set, report and be accountable for specific social KPIs and tracking performance.
* Work alongside the EU brand team to deliver marketing campaigns on social, ensuring social is a key part of the creative and media brief.
* Work alongside EU social media leads and contribute to the regional European organic social strategy.
* Educate the wider team on social trends and capabilities.
* Support livestream activations with real-time social content and paid amplification during live events.
* Manage influencer and creator activations in the Italian market, from briefing through to execution and reporting.
* Manage an external social media agency



Basic Qualifications


* Experience in audience segmentation and targeting
* Experience in a social media marketing role, either in an agency or in-house setting.

* Expertise in paid amplification and boosting social content
* Experience with third-party publishing tools, reporting tools, social listening or Meta Business Manager.
* Strong understanding of the Italian music and entertainment landscape.
* Strong time-management skills: ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment.
* Experience supporting live events or livestream activations through social media
