To support our business growth, we are looking for a People Manager to lead our Professional Services Implementation Team for Strategic Accounts. In this full-time position, lead a team of Professional Services managers who work with a wide range of B2B customers at a senior level (CPO, CFO, CTO) as project managers to implement Amazon Business as a solution. You will set team goals, define mechanisms and reporting requirements, provide guidance to your directs on customer engagements and internal projects, be a credible consultant with our top customers to solve their main procurement problems, help your directs develop their careers, liaise with key internal stakeholders to plan and steer your team\'s success, and take on responsibilities of key internal projects as required.

Location options include Munich, London, Paris, Milan and Madrid.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Contribute to Operation Planning Cycles (OP1/OP2) for EU Professional Services team in liaison with Head of the Proserve org and cross-functional counterparts and your Strategic Accts sector stakeholders.
  2. Set team / individual goals and install mechanisms to audit individual and team performance to goals throughout the year.
  3. Provide guidance to Directs for their customer engagements and internal projects.
  4. Join key strategic customer meetings in scoping the customer solution, setting the implementation plan and/or addressing any blockers in the engagement. Be a trusted advisor in solving our customers\' most critical procurement challenges.
  5. Participate in senior leadership meetings being the spokesperson for the Implementation function.
  6. Own key internal projects to support driving AB as a solution and organization forward including influence stakeholders across the EU and Worldwide.
  7. Hold regular career reviews with Directs to support them in their career development.
  8. Run annual talent management review for your Directs.
  9. Lead customer projects individually.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. BA/BS degree.
  2. 2+ years managing a tenured team.
  3. Exceptional English - both verbal and written.
  4. Functional experience with either System integrations (EPR, ePro, Cloud services, etc.) and/or Procurement background (knowledge of Procurement processes, typical challenges faced by organizations, etc.), and/or Consulting/ Project Management experience.
  5. Strong track record of managing and influencing senior stakeholders, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  6. Solid experience with customer-facing projects, ensuring the candidate brings the credibility needed to engage confidently with both the team and CPS stakeholders.
  7. Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively advise/influence senior leadership of the customer and internal teams.
  8. Project management skills.
  9. Desire to work in fast-paced, challenging environment.
  10. Strong ownership, bias for action and willingness to roll-up your sleeves.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Willingness to lead a team of Professional Services Managers and also lead customer projects as an Individual contributor.
  2. Expert use of MS Office Suite and CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com).
  3. Other language proficiencies (German, French, Italian, Spanish).
