Role Purpose: To oversee the development and direct implementation of all aspects of SHEQ within the Company. This will include ensuring legal compliance with relevant SHE legislation and development and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS). With a key focus on inspiring the team to achieve a zero harm environment and culture, this role will lead the development and continuous improvement of direct programs to maintain and improve health, safety, environmental and quality awareness of all employees whilst establishing and maintaining a robust audit regime. If you require any adjustments to support you through the application or interview process, please let us know—we’re here to help. #teamsinewave You’ll be a successful HSE Manager at Sinewave if you: * Develop and chair the SHE committee ensuring compliance with the relevant current SHE legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance * Monitor, evaluate and review internal SHEQ policies, procedures and practices and ensure sufficient communication, training and compliance * Establish and implement a SHEQ action plan and provide continuous support to all teams. * Ownership and compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations, advising on safe systems of work, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental documentation throughout project lifecycles. * Investigate and drive root cause analysis or accidents / incidents, report RIDDOR incidents and take necessary steps to prevent a recurrence and communicate lessons learnt * Oversee statutory and company requirements for all Health and Safety matters, including facilities, training, DSE requirements and best working practices * Ensure risk assessments of the workplace are carried out, reviewed and amended as necessary * Schedule and facilitate Compliance Audits, including the creation and maintenance of an Internal Audit Schedule, managing third party auditors and overseeing the change implementation of actions and outputs from audit reports and review meeting * Maintain the ISO certified IMS and all SHEQ accreditations (some examples are: Achilles, SafeContractor, Chas and B_Corp) * Implement and maintain GIRS and WIRS, and maintain existing NERS accreditation * Provide monthly / quarterly reports as required and chair review meetings * Prepare for and chair the annual Management Review * Maintain the Company’s noise and vibration database and follow up on associated actions * Arrange and monitor Occupational Health Surveillance * Support data collection across the business as required for all Health and Safety documentation * Collate SDSs and create COSHH assessments * Maintain and manage the document control system * Take ownership of and maintain the Subcontractor Approved Vendors List, ensuring appropriate due diligence checks are completed prior to approval and at regular intervals * Ensure the correct completion of waste transfer notes and consignment notes and necessary notifications made to the Environmental Agency * Create and deliver toolbox talks * Operational management of warehouse controls You\'ll have a proven track record of: * Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles * Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team * Extensive and detailed knowledge of SHE legislation * Good working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 / OHSAS18001 * Confident in creating, analysing and presenting reports as well as communicating and leading solutions * IMS Awareness Benefits So, let’s talk about what’s in it for you.
