Job description

Connect to your Industry

Behind every effective MarTech implementation is someone who can bridge the gap between what a business needs and what a platform can do. As a Senior Consultant specialising in MarTech Business Analysis, you will play that bridging role — working closely with experienced consultants and client teams to gather requirements, document processes, and shape the functional design of marketing technology platforms including customer data platforms (CDPs), marketing automation tools, and CRM systems.

This is a strong opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to build deep expertise in Marketing Technology, data-driven marketing, and business analysis. You will develop your skills across a broad ecosystem of platforms and industries, gaining hands-on exposure to some of the most innovative MarTech programmes in the UK market.

Connect to your career at Deloitte

Deloitte drives progress. Using our vast range of expertise, we help our clients' become leaders wherever they choose to compete. To do this, we invest in outstanding people. We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more.

What brings us all together at Deloitte? It’s how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact . These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.

Connect to your opportunity

We're expanding fast, and we're looking for curious, driven people who take initiative, listen well, and help us grow without compromising standards, integrity, or culture.

You will work with outstanding digital talent across disciplines to innovate and create great solutions for iconic brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in conducting stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and discovery sessions related to MarTech platform implementations, customer data initiatives, and digital marketing transformation programmes.
  • Support the documentation and analysis of current-state business processes and marketing workflows, helping to identify opportunities for improvement through MarTech solutions.
  • Learn to develop and contribute to functional specifications, use cases, and user stories that translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for technical teams.
  • Actively participate in implementation and post-implementation phases, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), user training, and change management activities to drive platform adoption.
  • Help identify and document risks, issues, and dependencies related to MarTech platform deployments, contributing to mitigation planning and escalation processes.
  • Support the maintenance of project documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional design documents, and test scripts across MarTech workstreams.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, platforms, and best practices in marketing technology, customer data platforms, and AI-driven marketing, contributing to our internal community of practice.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of growing analytical, functional, and communication skills, paired with a genuine interest in marketing technology and customer data. You will thrive in a collaborative environment where curiosity and initiative are valued as much as technical proficiency.

You will have:
  • A foundational understanding of Marketing Technology (MarTech) concepts, including marketing automation, customer relationship management (CRM), and customer data platforms (CDPs).
  • Developing analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to help break down business challenges and contribute structured thinking to solutions.
  • An understanding of platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent marketing technology solutions.
  • A basic understanding of data concepts including SQL, databases, and APIs, with an enthusiasm to develop deeper technical knowledge over time.
  • Developing communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and internal teams in workshops and meetings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for supporting data analysis and presentation preparation.
  • A drive to earn relevant industry certifications such as AEP Business Practitioner, Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, or business analysis qualifications such as BCS Business Analysis Practice.
  • An understanding in the applications of AI and agentic technologies within marketing contexts.
  • Confidence using AI tools and LLMs in day-to-day work — whether to support research, documentation, or the quality of deliverables (desirable).

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm). The recruitment team will provide further details as you progress through the recruitment process, or you can contact the Independence team upon request.
