Retail Assistant - Full Time

Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Castle Retail Park, Nottingham. This is a permanent 39‑hour full‑time position, working a variety of shifts across 5 days a week.

Pay & Benefits

  • £10.10 per hour for ages 16‑20
  • £12.31 per hour for ages 21+

Responsibilities

  • Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
  • Help customers find the items they are looking for.
  • Provide fast and friendly till service, package items, and bid customers a polite goodbye.
  • Handle stock with care, manage deliveries, and quickly place products into freezers and on shelves.
  • Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

  • A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
  • Enjoy being busy and able to juggle multiple tasks, from deliveries to till work and shop floor assistance.
  • Reliable and dependable, ensuring the team and customers can rely on you each shift.
  • A bit of flexibility with shifts, covering for colleagues when required and adapting to rota changes.
