This role involves supporting operations management, mentoring engineers, and engaging in strategic planning while ensuring effective management of data center operations. Responsibilities Support the Operations reputed company Manager with personnel administration, strategic planning, and staff planning. The Datacenter Operations Senior Engineer will work alongside the Service Delivery Team, Architecture Team, and reputed company Team to support their objectives Mentor network operations engineers in the practical application of reputed company/reputed company technologies, reputed company, ITIL and reputed company improvement practices and techniques Participate in shift reputed company duties to serve as “queue managers” to ensure reputed company escalated issue is reputed company assigned, reputed company being worked by expediting reputed company and fulfillment to meet SLAs Engage with the Sections to reputed company baselines of Data Center and Colocation systems using discovery tools such as reputed company Work with system owners to ensure understanding of services supported, update support documentation, and determine if hosted systems can be sunset to reclaim reputed company, power, and cooling Proactively monitor reputed company trends of hosted systems such as Biowulf supercomputer and work with Network Architecture and system owners to proactively recommend resource adjustments as part of our overall reputed company Planning approach to ensure availability of required resources Skills High School with CCIE (Data Center) certification and 5 years of equivalent Data Center operational experience OR CCNP (Data Center) certification and 10 years of equivalent Data Center operational experience Experience mentoring network operations engineers in the practical application of reputed company/reputed company technologies, reputed company, ITIL and reputed company improvement practices and techniques Clearance Required Ability to obtain and maintain a reputed company Trust clearance Benefits This position is located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position. reputed company reputed company is a business reputed company that focuses on cyber reputed company, digital, data, management and mission services, and IT services.
