People Strategy Consultant, Streaming [Remote]

Overview Are you interested in unlocking the value of the streaming business? Paramount is looking for a People Strategy Consultant to help shape and drive key initiatives across the People Function in our Streaming division. This is a unique opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders to ensure successful governance and management of people function projects! The focus of this work will be on strategic efforts like workforce planning, role clarity, organizational effectiveness and workforce benchmarking. This role will lead multiple projects and strengthen how we use data to make better people decisions, helping Paramount's streaming business to unlock value and make evidence-based decisions influencing our HR and business strategy. This non-staff assignment will be project-based, full-time and work on a hybrid basis 2-3 days a week from our NY offices. Responsibilities include but not limited to • Design the Program governance project framework and lead management of projects within the People Function, ensuring alignment with our objectives. • Lead workforce planning and role clarity programs by analyzing current workforce demographics, job catalog, current skill gaps, business plans, long range financial plans and business strategy to build real-time and predictive workforce plans supported by productivity mapping. • Develop comprehensive project plans, with clear and detailed timelines, dependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation approaches. • Establish benchmarks and metrics to discover trends and drive key business and workforce decisions. • Leverage data analytics to understand how we hire and how we work (productivity, performance, engagement and effectiveness) across a complex matrix organization. • Find opportunities for process improvement and optimization within our people function. Basic Qualifications • Experience in HR Consulting with previous exposure to People and Financial Metrics preferred. • Experience and knowledge of Job Architecture and Job Leveling. Additional Qualifications • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of statistics and people analytics. • Ability to clearly define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide recommendations. • Ability to demonstrate a blend of business perspective with financial knowledge. • Ability to engage and influence stakeholder groups. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range $2,075-$3,150 per week. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
