What you\'ll do

As a People Delivery Partner for Sainsbury\'s Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of people plans, including people development interventions, change / transformation projects, and cyclical people activities. Working closely with the Head of People for Tech and People Partners, you will help design, implement, and embed a variety of people change initiatives and cyclical activities, such as talent reviews, bonus and pay reviews, and peak recruitment, to create a great colleague and line manager experience. Your role will involve consistent delivery of people activities within agreed timescales, consulting with stakeholders, analysing data to support development of people plans, driving business change initiatives, facilitating Retail leadership development programmes, and supporting the delivery of the overarching workforce strategy and associated activities.

With a strong blend of people partner knowledge, skills, and experience, coupled with CIPD Level 5 certification, you take full accountability for resolving issues, constantly seek opportunities for improvement, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to find innovative and efficient solutions. Your ability to analyse data, support change projects, and drive positive momentum on key people metrics demonstrates your commitment to delivering impactful interventions that enhance colleague engagement, drive performance, and ensure the sustainability of business change initiatives.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience delivering people plans and change initiatives within a fast-paced, complex, commercial environment, ideally within a Tech company or a Tech division of a large organisation, with evidence of successful and measurable outcomes.
  • Relevant professional qualification or equivalent expertise, such as CIPD Level 5 or a proven combination of people partner knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret people data to inform strategic decisions and track progress against defined targets and measures.
  • Proven capability in facilitating and implementing cyclical people activities, including talent reviews, performance management, and reward processes.
  • Effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams to deliver joined-up people solutions.
Salary: GBP 36000 - 60000 per year
