Job Overview

Mercedes-Benz of Dartford is seeking a friendly, organised, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part Time Sales Advisor (Telephone). You will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, engaging with them over the phone to qualify and understand their needs, offer guidance, and promote appointments to experience the exceptional range of Mercedes‑Benz vehicles.

Working Hours

  • 32 hours per week across 4 days.
  • Monday to Friday (3 days) – either 7am‑4pm, 8am‑5pm, 9am‑6pm, 10am‑7pm.
  • Saturdays 8am‑5pm.
  • Shift will be confirmed in advance and may rotate to support team needs.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound and outbound sales and enquiry calls with knowledge, enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Proactively make outbound follow‑up calls to support sales opportunities.
  • Qualify leads, identify customer requirements and promote appointments for the showroom sales team.
  • Accurately record customer details and interactions using dealership CRM systems.
  • Keep up to date with vehicle features, offers and dealership events to provide up‑to‑date information to customers.
  • Be an ambassador for the Mercedes‑Benz brands.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to put customers at ease.
  • Confident telephone manner with an engaging and persuasive approach.
  • Active listening skills to understand customer needs.
  • Sales‑driven attitude and motivation to achieve team and individual targets.
  • Strong attention to detail when recording customer information and booking appointments.
  • Experience using CRM or customer database systems is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in telephone‑based sales or customer service is desirable, but not essential – full training provided.
  • Ambition to learn about new vehicles, offers and dealership promotions to inform customers accurately.
  • Team player, adaptable and eager to support an inclusive workplace environment.
  • Natural ability to connect with people and build rapport over the phone.
