Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced

Multi Skilled Operative to join a leading social housing contractor on a temp-to-perm basis. Working across the North West, you'll be carrying out planned maintenance and refurbishment works within tenanted and void social housing properties. This role is ideal for a reliable, customer-focused operative with a strong multi-trade background who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a range of multi-skilled repairs and maintenance works within social housing properties. Complete joinery tasks including kitchen fitting, door hanging, skirting, architraves, and general repairs. Undertake plumbing works including repairs, replacements, and bathroom installations.

Carry out wall and floor tiling to a high standard. Complete plastering and patch repairs as required. Work efficiently within occupied and void properties while minimising disruption to tenants. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations.

Maintain excellent customer service and high standards of workmanship at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Operative. Strong skills in joinery, plumbing, tiling, and plastering . Previous social housing experience is essential. Valid CSCS Card. Own tools are essential. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
