About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and autonomous Microsoft Azure AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent enterprise solutions. In this role, you will leverage both prebuilt AI capabilities and custom machine learning workflows to build scalable, secure, and responsible AI applications that solve critical business challenges.

This position requires a high degree of technical expertise within the Azure ecosystem, alongside compliance with stringent operational standards, including holding or being eligible for a UK Security Clearance.

  • Security Clearance: Must currently hold, or be fully eligible to undergo, a formal UK Security Clearance process.
  • Equipment (BYOD): This position operates under a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy. You must possess your own professional-grade, secure laptop capable of handling heavy development and engineering workloads.
Key Responsibilities 1. AI Solution Development
  • Design and implement sophisticated AI solutions utilizing Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Studio, and Azure AI Services.
  • Build, train, and deploy robust Python-based machine learning models using Azure ML pipelines and SDKs.
  • Integrate prebuilt AI capabilities (including Vision, Language, Speech, and Document Intelligence) into enterprise applications.
2. Collaboration & Business Alignment
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate corporate requirements into technical, AI-driven solutions.
  • Participate actively in solution architecture discussions to guarantee alignment with enterprise standards, compliance, and long-term scalability.
3. Responsible AI & Governance
  • Apply Responsible AI principles across all workloads, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in your models.
  • Ensure total compliance with data privacy, security protocols, and strict governance standards.
4. Monitoring & Optimization
  • Proactively monitor production AI workloads using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and industry-proven MLOps best practices.
  • Continuously optimize model performance, cost-efficiency, and cloud reliability post-deployment.
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven professional experience as an AI Engineer, Data Scientist, or Cloud Engineer heavily focused on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Strong programming proficiency in Python and deep experience with Azure ML SDKs and automated pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience deploying workflows within Azure AI Studio and configuring various Azure AI Services.
  • Solid understanding of production MLOps patterns, cloud infrastructure monitoring, and cost-tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge complex technical execution with business strategy.
  • Highly Desirable: Valid Microsoft Certifications, such as Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) .
