Lead Generator/Appointment Setter

Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking to appoint a Lead Generator on behalf of our client. This is an exciting opportunity that will encompass a broad range of sales and marketing activities, including telesales, LinkedIn messaging, email campaigns, and direct marketing.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact within the role, bringing creativity and initiative to their approach while playing a key part in supporting the overall sales strategy and business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in sales and business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build strong rapport and maintain a clear telephone manner.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain disciplined follow-up.
  • Strong research, listening, and presentation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other relevant platforms to identify individuals who match our target base
  • Connect with prospects and send direct messages to introduce the client, ensuring contacts are added to the CRM and relevant marketing lists.
  • Make outbound calls to generate interest and arrange appointments for the Sales team to attend with clients.
  • Use exploratory questioning techniques to engage prospects, understand their needs, and identify how we can support them.
  • Send Teams/Zoom meeting invitations to confirm appointments and attend meetings when applicable.
  • Attend daily meetings, weekly 1-2-1 meetings, and monthly sales meetings, contributing ideas to support sales growth.
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions when required.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls when required.
  • Undertake any other tasks or duties as required by the business and requested by your manager.

Salary: £40,000 (negotiable) plus commission

Hours:

  • 8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday), 7:30am – 4pm (Friday)
  • Fully Office Based
