About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and analytical Junior Power BI Developer to join their growing Business Intelligence team.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with full training provided , making it ideal for graduates, aspiring BI Developers, Data Analysts, and career changers looking to build a career in data analytics and business intelligence.

Working alongside experienced BI professionals, you'll design interactive dashboards, analyse business data, and help transform complex information into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Create data visualisations to present business insights clearly.
  • Build and maintain data models within Power BI.
  • Write and optimise SQL queries for reporting.
  • Clean and transform data using Power Query.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
  • Monitor report performance and implement improvements.
  • Support testing, documentation, and dashboard maintenance.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and analytics projects.
Skills & Experience
  • Interest in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and SQL.
  • Understanding of data visualisation principles.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree, bootcamp, or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Commercial Power BI experience is not essential – full training provided.
