1. Email your application to: zoe.makin+fullstack@minimalviablelaunch.io
2. Subject line must be exactly: "I build things that work"
3. Attach your CV as a PDF named: Firstname-Lastname-FullStack.pdf

6. Include a link to anything you've built: GitHub, a live project, a portfolio. Anything that shows us you can ship
Before you spend time on it: you must already hold long-term right to work in the UK. We can't offer visa sponsorship for this role, so however strong your application is, we can't take it forward without that.
The rest of this post is what you'd be applying to...
WANTED! The World's Most Curious Remote Junior Full Stack Developer
We're growing the team.
The three Junior Full Stack Developers we hired this year are superstars: curious, fast-moving, AI-native builders who hit the ground running and are shipping real work for real clients right now.
We're looking for more of them. This isn't one seat we're backfilling. We're building out the product team, and we'll hire every person who clears our bar.
If you've been waiting for the right moment to join a team that's genuinely going somewhere, this is it.
WHO WE ARE
Minimal Viable Launch is the company that takes founders with extraordinary knowledge and levels them up into AI Tech founders. We take a non-technical founder's expertise (where the IP is locked in their head, their frameworks, their methodology) and turn it into a scaleable, sellable AI-powered product that transforms their business.
We're a remote-first team obsessed with finding the burning problem a client actually needs solved. And we solve it better than anyone thought possible. We read the AI research, translate it, and help founders understand what's actually possible right now.
We're educators at heart. Everyone who works with us (client or team member) comes away sharper. Our culture runs on three values: being lifelong learners, making people love working with us, and radical candour. We have a high-performance culture where the bar is real, but so is the support, the mentorship, and the growth.
We hire energetic, hungry junior people and accelerate them with world-class AI tools, mentorship, and frameworks that let them do things that should take years in months. This is how we operate every day.
We're growing fast. The new team is already shipping. Come be part of it.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We need Junior Full Stack Developers to join our product team. This is a remote position (UK hours required).
You'll be building and shipping AI-powered products for our clients in real world applications that founders use to run and grow their businesses. We give you the tools and the training, and you bring the ability to learn fast and solve problems with curiosity and tenacity.
You'll work closely with senior developers, designers, and directly with founders. Some days you'll be building a new feature end-to-end. Other days you'll be debugging something weird in production. Every day you'll be using AI tools to move faster than should be possible.
If you're the kind of person who's already using AI to write better code and you want to be surrounded by people who think the same way, this is your role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and ship full stack features across our client products using AI specialist tools
- Write clean, functional code that works in production
- Collaborate with founders and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Proactively identify and fix bugs, improve performance, and suggest better approaches
- Learn fast with new tools, new frameworks, new AI capabilities and share what you learn with the team
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- You can build things. Whether that's side projects, freelance work, bootcamp projects, or open source contributions. Simply show us what you've made
- Comfortable working across standard dev stack and AI tools (Claude): you don't need to be an expert in everything, but you should be curious about everything
- Strong problem-solver who reads error messages, checks the docs, and closes loops before asking for help
- Already using AI tools in your workflow. This is non-negotiable
- Excellent written communication. We're remote-first, so clear writing matters
- Motivated by learning and growth, not just a paycheque
Whatever path brought you here, whether recent grad, bootcamp, self-taught, career-switcher or years of experience, you're welcome. What matters is what you can build and how fast you can learn.
SALARY AND GROWTH
Junior Full Stack Developers start at £35,000 per year.
Here's what the path looks like:
- You'll start working alongside senior developers on real client projects from day one
- You'll be given progressively more ownership as you prove yourself. We power up people fast
- Performance is measured on output quality, reliability, and how well you collaborate
- Strong performers unlock Org Bounties: big, difficult challenges that accelerate your growth and your pay
- We actively promote from within. This role is a launchpad, not a dead end
Benefits:
- Quarterly in-person team gatherings
- North Star Vision programme: personal 1:1 mentoring that maps your life goals alongside your role
- Flexible hours. We care about results, not when you're online
- World-class AI tooling and mentorship
WHO THRIVES HERE
While there's never just one "right way" to do a job, the people who thrive here tend to share some traits:
- Builder mindset. You get energy from making things. You'd rather ship something imperfect and iterate than plan forever
- Relentlessly curious. You go down rabbit holes. You read changelogs for fun. You've probably annoyed someone by saying "but how does it actually work?"
- Self-directed. Nobody is going to tell you what to do every hour. You manage your own time and energy, and you deliver
- Low ego, high standards. You want feedback because you want to get better. You take corrections seriously
What energises you:
- Solving real problems for real people
- Learning something new every week
- Working with AI at the frontier
- Being trusted with real responsibility early
- Shipping fast and seeing impact
MAKE SURE YOU'RE COMFORTABLE WITH
Before you apply, be honest with yourself about these:
- High-performance culture with real accountability. We hold each other to a high standard and actively move on those who don't meet it. The bar is real and everyone knows it.
- Remote-first means self-discipline. No one is watching over your shoulder. You need to manage your own time, energy, and output.
- AI-native working. Every role at Minimal Viable Launch involves working with AI tools daily. If you're not curious about AI or resistant to changing how you work, this isn't the right fit.
- Radical candour goes both ways. You will receive direct, honest feedback regularly and you're expected to give it too. If you prefer environments where people avoid difficult conversations, this will feel uncomfortable.
- Startup pace in a growing company. We move fast. Priorities can shift. You'll sometimes be asked to stretch beyond what feels comfortable and that's by design.
- You must already have the right to work in the UK long term. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role, and the salary sits below the threshold that would allow us to. If your right to work depends on a visa we would need to sponsor, or on permission you do not hold yet, we cannot take your application forward however strong it is. We would rather tell you that here than after you have put the work in.
- UK hours required. We are remote-first, but the team and our clients run on UK time and you need to be working those hours.
- 6 month probation period. All roles have a 6 month probation to make sure we're the right fit for each other.
OUR VALUES
Lifelong Learner. We are always learning, we love learning. We share what we learn and have a strong, driven learning culture. This enables us to continually level up what we are able to do and drives those around us to perform better. Learn and pass it on.
Make People Love Working With You. We know that our people are the lifeblood of our company. We go above and beyond for our team and clients. It is everyone's job to make you love working with us. Make it easy for them. Go the extra mile for them. Be friendly with them. Execute for them.
Radical Candour. Disagreement is okay. Strong opinions loosely held is okay. We constantly feed back on each other. Feedback is not personal. It is seeking to level up the organisation, and you. Seek feedback and action it.
THANK YOU
If you've read this far and you're still excited, good. The application instructions are at the top of this post.
We know that's a lot to ask in an application. But we're offering a lot in return: real mentorship, real growth, and the chance to build products that genuinely change people's lives.
If anything about this role or the instructions isn't clear, don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to answer questions.
We're building something special at Minimal Viable Launch, and we want to find someone who's just as excited about that as we are. Let's build something great together.
