<p> Glasgow, Lanarkshire<br /> CBS butler</p> <p><strong>iOS Developer </strong></p> <p><strong>Rate:</strong> £350 – £400 a day</p> <p><strong>IR35 status:</strong> Inside</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Glasgow – hybrid one day a week</p> <p>You will join a global IT consultancy who are delivering digital transformation to an enterprise scale end customer.</p> <p>As an iOS Engineer you will build high quality mobile applications and you’ll value writing clean, maintainable, and well tested code while thriving in a fast moving Agile environment.</p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Developing and maintaining features across our iOS applications</li> <li>Collaborating closely with cross functional teams to deliver high quality digital products</li> <li>Building intuitive, visually engaging, and user friendly mobile experiences</li> <li>Writing clean, scalable, maintainable, and well tested Swift code</li> <li>Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our Digital platforms</li> <li>Identifying opportunities to improve performance, usability, and development processes</li> <li>Contributing to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews</li> <li>Working collaboratively with Analysts, Testers, and Designers to deliver solutions that meet stakeholder and customer needs</li> <li>Supporting the delivery of Digital objectives through technical innovation and best practice engineering</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong commercial experience with Swift</li> <li>Experience building apps using MVVM architecture</li> <li>Comfortable integrating with RESTful APIs without relying heavily on third party frameworks</li> <li>Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Storyboards, Nibs, Auto Layout, and Size Classes</li> <li>Familiarity with navigation patterns such as Coordinators</li> <li>Experience with CoreData or similar local persistence frameworks</li> <li>Familiarity with version control systems such as Git</li> <li>Understanding of the App Store release process, including provisioning profiles and certificates</li> <li>Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams</li> <li>Familiarity with reactive programming concepts (eg RxSwift/Combine)</li> <li>Strong debugging and problem solving skills</li> </ul>
