Corporate Hospitality Host - Premium Client Experience

Location: London, EC1
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, with flexibility required
Pay: 14.80 per hour

Exceptional hospitality. Exceptional environment. Exceptional standards.

If you have built your career around delivering exceptional hospitality and take pride in getting every detail right, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

We are looking for a polished, personable and naturally confident Corporate Hospitality Host to join the team at Sidley Austin, one of the world's leading international law firms.

This is a premium corporate environment where expectations are high and standards are uncompromising.

Every client, visitor and colleague should experience the very best from the moment they arrive. From the presentation of a meeting room and the quality of refreshments, to the way a guest is welcomed and an unexpected request is handled, everything matters.

We are looking for someone who understands that exceptional hospitality isn't simply about delivering a service. It's about creating an experience.

This isn't ordinary hospitality

You may have worked in a luxury hotel, premium corporate environment, leading law firm, financial institution, private members' club or another high-end hospitality setting.

Wherever you've worked, you'll understand the difference between good service and genuinely exceptional service.

You'll be someone who:

  • Notices the detail before anyone else does.
  • Takes pride in immaculate presentation.
  • Anticipates what a client or colleague might need.
  • Is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and high-profile clients.
  • Can hold a conversation naturally and professionally with anyone.
  • Remains composed when plans change or requests arrive at short notice.
  • Doesn't wait to be told what needs doing.
  • Understands that representing an organisation is part of the role.

You will be a highly visible representative of Sidley Austin and, in many respects, a mascot for the standards and experience we want every visitor to associate with the organisation.

What you'll be responsible for:

You'll help create a seamless hospitality experience across the London office, taking ownership of the detail from preparation through to delivery.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming and looking after clients, visitors, employees and senior stakeholders.
  • Preparing meeting rooms to an immaculate, client-ready standard.
  • Delivering refreshments and catering with exceptional presentation and attention to detail.
  • Managing hospitality requirements for meetings, events and client engagements.
  • Responding confidently to last-minute requests and finding solutions quickly.
  • Anticipating requirements and proactively identifying where something needs attention.
  • Maintaining consistently high standards across meeting rooms and hospitality areas.
  • Managing hospitality bookings, stock, supplies and deliveries.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure every meeting and event runs seamlessly.
  • Supporting wider corporate hospitality and client-facing activities when required.
  • Following food safety, health & safety and corporate procedures.
  • Representing Sidley Austin professionally, discreetly and positively at every interaction.

What we're looking for:

We're not simply looking for someone who has worked in hospitality.

We're looking for someone who understands exceptional hospitality.

You will ideally have experience within a premium environment such as:

  • A major international law firm.
  • Investment banking or financial services.
  • A luxury hotel or five-star hospitality environment.
  • A premium corporate headquarters.
  • A private members' club.
  • High-end events or conference hospitality.
  • Another environment where presentation, discretion and client experience are non-negotiable.

Experience within a major law firm or professional services organisation would be particularly advantageous.

You'll also bring:

  • A polished, professional and highly presentable appearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence engaging with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • A warm, personable and naturally engaging personality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • A proactive, can-do approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Discretion and sound judgement.
  • The ability to represent a premium global organisation with confidence and credibility.

Why this opportunity?

This is an opportunity to move away from traditional hospitality and into a premium corporate environment where your professionalism, personality and attention to detail are genuinely valued.

You'll work within a prestigious international law firm, in a modern London environment, with regular exposure to senior stakeholders, clients and visitors from around the world.

For the right person, this is more than a hospitality role. It is an opportunity to become recognised as one of the people who defines the experience of the organisation.

What we offer:

  • Permanent, full-time Monday to Friday position.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • 8:00am-4:00pm working pattern, with flexibility where required.
  • 14.80 per hour.
  • Premium corporate environment in central London.
  • Opportunity to work within a prestigious international law firm.
  • Regular exposure to senior stakeholders and high-profile clients.
  • Sodexo benefits and employee support.
  • Opportunity to develop your corporate hospitality career within a global organisation.
Ready to raise the standard?

If you're currently working in a premium hospitality, luxury hotel, corporate hospitality, law firm, financial services or client experience environment and are looking for something more professional, more prestigious and more demanding, we'd like to hear from you.
