Health, Safety & Environmental Business Partner

Job Description:

  • Deliver a relationship-managed service to a portfolio of Business Banking clients in Health, Safety & Environmental consultancy
  • Build lasting client relationships and grow portfolio volume and value
  • Deliver high-quality customer interactions and experiences
  • Serve clients through face-to-face meetings, video, telephone and email
  • Understand client needs and provide commercial, profitable advice
  • Encourage adoption of Mentor’s digital and self-service channels
  • Deliver new business growth through referrals, networking and business generation
  • Lead new business prospect meetings and relationship-building activities
  • Collaborate with the Consultancy Delivery team to meet customer expectations and timescales
  • Manage client retention and renewal pricing conversations
  • Maintain an up-to-date contact strategy focused on new business income and agreed goals
  • Support clients and colleagues with complex technical issues

Requirements:

  • Professional qualifications in Health & Safety or Environmental
  • Membership of a relevant professional body
  • Minimum CertIOSH
  • Working towards and expected to attain CMIOSH within 18 months of joining
  • Extensive experience in a role relating to Health & Safety
  • Background in providing advice for complex matters
  • Extensive experience identifying customer needs, risks and prioritising recommendations
  • Ability to identify and lead business solutions and bespoke service offerings
  • Ability to provide commercial price quotes
  • Excellent time management skills and a flexible approach to serving customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to convey clear, easy-to-understand technical Health, Safety and Environmental advice verbally and in writing
  • Ability to travel across Sussex, Kent, South London and surrounding areas
  • Full-time, 35 hours
