Would you like to join the largest Health and fitness operator in Europe?

At David Lloyd we help our members to live a better life with a focus on physical and mental wellbeing and a sense of belonging.

We are looking for BATTLEBOX instructors.

BATTLEBOX is our ultimate outdoor workout that encourages our members to burn calories whilst getting plenty of fresh air and a dose of Vitamin D from exercising outside.

There is lots of variety for both our member and instructors, with four different training programs;

  • ‘WARRIOR’-This workout is based on all the challenges, movements and methods used in OCR (Obstacle Course Races) like a Spartan or Tough Mudder.
  • ‘ATHLETIC’- This workout will instantly transport you to the games field where you will develop speed, strength, power, acceleration, coordination, cardiovascular fitness and so much more.
  • ‘STRONG’-This workout focuses on unconventional strength training and unleashes the beast in you by challenging your every move.
  • ‘PLAY’- This is our age 8+ workout that brings families together. Play gives parents the chance to awaken their inner child with games, challenges and races that will enlighten the mind.

Our expectations are that classes must be safe, well attended and professionally taught and that our members always leave your class having had an amazing experience.

So what qualifications, skills and experience do I need?

  • Hold a minimum of a current L2 or L3 CIMSPA qualified trainer
  • Takes responsibility to remain current and up to date with your qualification.
  • Understands the importance of and always operates a safe class.
  • Have effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport motivate!
  • Able to adapt a class to accommodate a wide range of ages and ability, recognising Every -BODY is different and unique.
  • Good time keeping, Trustworthy, reliable, friendly, professional.
  • Creative keeping classes fresh and alive, bringing elements fun and energy.
