Our **Operational Innovations (OI)** team is at the center of this transformation. We are trusted partners to our functions and firm leadership for driving this ambitious change agenda. We enable step-change improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of the firm by accelerating high-priority initiatives sponsored by the Operations Leadership Team and/or our Operating Committee. From technology & AI deployments to end-to-end process redesign, we partner with functional and geographic leaders to re-architect how the firm operates — faster, smarter, and more connected than ever before. We enable functions to scale effectively, improve performance, and unlock new sources of value through data, automation, and forward-thinking design. **Key Activities and Responsibilities include:** The OI Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of high-priority transformation change efforts, typically owning a defined workstream or module within a broader program. Projects could relate to new operating models, tools, systems, processes, and ways of working. Effectively executing this will require the individual to: Support functional leadership teams and workstream sponsors * Contribute to setting direction and creating the roadmap for own workstream within the broader change effort * Help crystallize objectives and deliverables for workstream, ensuring highest potential for value delivery * Manage, track and communicate status of workstream efforts, program risks/issues, and progress towards strategic goals * Partner with Workstream leads and sponsors to develop deliverables and help navigate complex issues and change management agendas * Organize and help lead project initiatives within own module, focusing on both change management, project management, and technical implementation (where appropriate) * Help define and manage scope for own workstream or module * Participate in estimating functional and technical activities, * Develop detailed project and resource plans, balancing dependencies and setting predictable dates * Manage all aspects of own workstream, including requirements, design, development priorities, quality assurance, communications, training, deployment, and stabilization * Foster strong internal and external relationships to ensure strong teaming and improve the overall success of the project * Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders locally, regionally and globally * Become a trusted advisor and be able to support issues, communication and influence outcomes * Become a credible resource in change management/project management within own area of focus and stakeholder network * Contribute to an OI team culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and analytical insight, while supporting junior team members through on-the-job mentoring within assigned projects **YOU’RE GOOD AT** * **Working in a complex global environment at pace.** You are comfortable managing time-sensitive deliverables and bringing structure to ambiguous work. * **Stakeholder engagement.** You understand stakeholder needs, translate them into clear actions, and build trusted relationships across teams. * **Communicating in a mature and thoughtful manner.** You communicate clearly, tailor messages to your audience, and show good judgment in stakeholder conversations. * **Structuring and analyzing information.** You can organize ideas, problems, or inputs into clear, useful deliverables with strong attention to detail. * **Logically considering how complex projects get completed.** You can break down work into clear steps, identify dependencies and risks, and help drive execution. * **Contributing to and supporting effective teams.** You work well with virtual and cross-functional teams, create clarity for others, and support a positive team environment. # What You'll Bring * Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience supporting and running change programs in a global organization; advanced business degree or project management qualification is beneficial * Track record of successful change and project management to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across global organizations; managing the technical and cultural aspects of change * Experience at BCG or other professional services firm in a business partnership role is beneficial * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and appetite to leverage more progressive digital tools for work process and teaming (especially AI) * Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization is essential; global/international experience and track record of managing projects across borders * Experience managing stakeholders, contributing to team performance, and an orientation towards achieving results * Virtual work with international team members; some travel to support team or other work efforts # Who You'll Work With This role will require interactions with a wide range of team members and stakeholders, including: * The OI Leadership Team and OI team members * Global leadership, various functional leadership, etc. * Specialists from HR, Finance, IT, and other functions, as required Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
