General labor/ delivery driver for Carpet warehouse

  • Silber Rd /I-10 area, Houston | Full-Time | $18–$20/hr | Mon–Fri, 10 AM–6 PM

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse General Labor & Delivery Driver to join our rug warehouse team. This is a hands-on position that includes warehouse work, local deliveries, and general assistance with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, move, and organize area rugs and carpet rolls
  • Assist with receiving and organizing incoming merchandise
  • Pull and prepare rugs for customer orders and deliveries
  • Make local deliveries and pickups using company vehicles
  • Assist with loading and unloading at customer locations
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
  • Help maintain rug racks and storage areas
  • Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Able to lift 75+ lbs regularly
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable performing physical warehouse work and handling large or bulky rugs with appropriate equipment/team assistance
  • Able to follow instructions and handle merchandise carefully
  • Professional and courteous when making customer deliveries
  • English required; Spanish a plus
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Previous warehouse, delivery, moving, furniture, flooring, rug store or carpet store, or similar experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
