Freelance: Video Editors, Designers, Motion Graphics

Pixelworx creates unstoppable social-first content. We shape what people watch.

We're building our freelance bench: Video Editors, Graphic Designers & Motion Graphics.

About:

Pixelworx is a social-first studio delivering scroll-stopping content shaped for how people engage today.

We work with brands and agencies including DAZN, F1 Academy, Team GB, Coca-Cola and Amazon, helping them earn attention in the feed, fast, purposeful, and tuned into evolving audience habits.

Our work is bold. Our approach isn't. We're quietly confident: calm, collaborative and intentional. We don't need to shout about what we do, our work speaks for itself.

We're growing, and with that comes more projects, more clients and more moments where we need brilliant freelance talent we can call on. That's what this is about.

The Role

We're building a trusted bench of freelancers across three disciplines:
  • Video Editors – cutting social-first content across sports, podcasts, branded campaigns and social ads.

  • Graphic Designers – bringing brand and campaign work to life across static and social assets.

  • Motion Designers – adding movement, energy and polish through motion graphics and animation.

You won't be tied to a fixed schedule. When the right project comes in, we'll come to you. The goal is a roster of people we trust completely, so when things move fast, we already know who to call.

What we're looking for:

Video Editors

  • Strong editing skills across Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • A portfolio that shows social-first storytelling, not just long-form.
  • Comfortable turning around quick edits without cutting corners on quality.
Graphic Designers
  • Confident across the Adobe suite, with a sharp eye for brand consistency.
  • A portfolio showing social and campaign design, not just static branding work.
  • Understanding of how design needs to flex across platforms and formats.
Motion Designers

  • Skilled in After Effects, with a strong grasp of pacing and rhythm.
  • A showreel demonstrating clean, considered motion work.
  • Ability to bring energy to a brand without losing its identity.
Across all three roles, we're looking for:
  • Proven freelance experience, ideally with a social-first focus.
  • A reliable, professional approach. We need people who deliver on time, every time.
  • Comfortable taking a brief and running with it, then adapting from feedback.
  • Understanding of formats, aspect ratios and best practice across platforms.
  • Great communication. You'll be working with our production team remotely, so clarity matters.
How we work Pixelworx is a fully remote studio, with our team working from home across the UK. Most work happens virtually, though some projects involve filming days where travel is covered.

We're after people who take pride in their work and don't need micromanaging, freelancers who treat our clients like their own.

What we offer

  • Competitive day rates, dependent on experience.
  • A steady pipeline of varied, high-profile project work.
  • First refusal on future briefs once you're a trusted part of the bench.
  • A collaborative, easy relationship with our production team, not just a brief and a deadline.
Terms Freelance, project by project. No fixed hours or minimum commitment, we'll bring you in as work comes up and suits your availability.

How to apply

Send us your portfolio or showreel, your day rate and your current availability, and we'll take it from there.
