At Sodexo, you'll belong in a team where your attention to detail makes a real difference. We're looking for reliable and motivated Cleaning Operatives to join our team at in the heart of London.

Whether you're an experienced cleaner or looking to start a new career, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. You'll help maintain a professional corporate environment by delivering exceptional cleaning standards while ensuring health, safety and hygiene requirements are met.

What you'll do

  • Clean offices, meeting rooms and communal areas
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual cleaning schedules
  • Empty waste and dispose of it correctly
  • Replenish washroom and cleaning consumables
  • Carry out detailed cleaning as required
  • Use cleaning equipment and products safely
  • Follow COSHH, health & safety and colour-coding procedures
  • Report maintenance issues and faulty equipment
  • Maintain cleaning cupboards, bin areas and equipment
  • Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues and visitors
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions

What you'll bring

  • Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, reliable and self-motivated approach
  • Good attention to detail
  • Understanding of excellent customer service
  • Flexibility to support operational requirements
  • Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards

Desirable:

  • Experience using floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, buffers or polishers
  • Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals
