The client is a fast-growing UK ecommerce business specialising in high-quality home improvement and interior products. Their extensive product range includes acoustic slatted wall panels, decorative wall panels, waterproof bathroom and shower panels, porcelain tiles, flooring, bathroom furniture, mirrors, baths, basins, shower screens, doors, towel rails, LED lighting, installation accessories and finishing trims.

As the business continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced, customer-focused professional to join our team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, thrives in a fast-paced ecommerce environment and wants to play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding support across email and phone while helping ensure every order is handled professionally from enquiry through to completion.

We're looking for someone who can work independently, communicate confidently with UK customers and genuinely care about delivering excellent service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls and emails.
  • Make outbound calls to customers when required.
  • Respond to customer enquiries quickly and professionally.
  • Resolve order queries and customer issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer records within our CRM.
  • Work closely with the UK team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Help clear customer enquiries and maintain inbox SLAs.
  • Support continuous improvements to customer service processes.

Requirements

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 2+ years' experience in customer service, customer care or contact centre environments.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Experience supporting UK, Australian or international customers.
  • Strong telephone manner and confidence speaking with customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A proactive, reliable and positive attitude.
  • Stable high-speed internet and a professional home office setup.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within ecommerce, retail or order fulfilment.
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Experience handling high volumes of customer enquiries.
  • Comfortable working occasional weekends on a rotating roster.
