Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Drivers Mates to work alongside our lorry drivers, for a well known client of ours, based in Croydon.

This role involves delivering large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV\'s, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc.

Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.

The client operate seven days a week, you will receive a weekly rota of 5-6 shifts a week.WEEKEND WORK IS INVOLVED AND WILL BE EXPECTED OF YOU! Please only apply if you can work weekends, as well as weekdays.

Start times are 0600 and days will last for around 9-11 hours.

As a drivers mate you will also be responsible for calling ahead to customers to let them know of your arrival time, so good customer service and telephone skills are essential.

You will also be trained to be a \'banksman\' - ensuring that you are outside of the lorry at all times when the lorry is reversing, to ensure that it is safe to do so. You will be fully trained on how to do this.

Upon successful application, all new Drivers Mates are subject to an induction day that must be attended.

You must be able to reliably commute to the Croydon area.
