Conduct in-depth digital research to understand audience needs, behaviors, and preferences, and use this information to inform content and service development. Monitor and analyze digital media trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to inform decision making. Collaborate with various teams and departments within the BBC to ensure that research is integrated into all aspects of content creation and delivery. Utilize a variety of research methods and tools, such as surveys, focus groups, and social media monitoring, to gather and analyze data. Manage and maintain a database of audience research findings, ensuring that data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. Present research findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in digital research, and continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the BBC's research practices. Manage a team of digital research analysts, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success. Collaborate with external research partners and vendors to conduct large-scale research projects and ensure the best use of resources. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations, as well as BBC's ethical standards, in all research activities.
