Olivia is our friendly virtual assistant, available to support you navigate through the application process 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Olivia can answer common questions, guide candidates through application steps, arrange interviews and provide timely updates, all to help make the application process smoother and easier to navigate. Note that Olivia cannot make hiring decisions; those are always made by real human recruiters.

Before we can employ you, we are required to verify your eligibility to work in the UK & Ireland. Acceptable documents to evidence your right to work can be found here. You’ll need to provide original documents such as a valid passport or a valid UK/Ireland visa (with a college letter listing term dates, where applicable). Only original documents will be accepted.

Interview process

The interview is an absolutely vital part of our hiring process. The interview will normally involve questions around values and attitudes and will allow you to show why you’d be the right person for the job. Examples may include times you’ve worked as part of a team and how you contributed to that team. We hire for attitudes and behaviours to deliver a great customer and colleague experience, focusing on qualities and potential rather than solely on qualifications.

Role expectations and responsibilities

  • Morning, Afternoon and Evening shifts; availability on Weekdays and Weekends is required.
  • Provide hot food, friendly, fast and accurate service; ensure high standards of quality, service and cleanliness.
  • Follow workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures; treat customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
  • Work as a supportive team member and maintain energy and enthusiasm in a fast-moving environment.
  • Meet the criteria for the role in line with training and company guidelines.

Shifts and scheduling

Shifts include Early Mornings, Afternoons and Evenings. Morning shifts start from 04:00 and Evening shifts finish at 02:00. Some locations operate 24 hours. Roles require availability on weekdays and weekends.

Compensation and benefits

Every team member earns above the national minimum wage. Benefits include holiday pay, service awards, meal allowance, employee discounts from top brands, and more. If you work overnights, there may be additional pay for overnight shifts. A range of benefits including holiday and sick pay and employee discounts are offered.
