We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst with a strong focus on the precious metals sector to join a globally recognised organisation based in Greater London. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering hybrid working and a competitive salary of £60,000–£70,000.

The Role
As a Commodities Credit Analyst, you will play a key role in assessing and managing credit risk for both existing and prospective clients within the commodities sector, with particular emphasis on precious metals leasing.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed credit analysis and assess the financial health of clients.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and recommendations.
- Monitor market trends and developments within the commodities and precious metals markets.
- Advise on appropriate credit limits and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with finance, trading, and other internal teams to optimise credit strategies.
- Engage with external stakeholders and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Take a proactive approach to risk management in a fast-paced international environment.
- Proven experience in Credit Management and Credit Analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of finance concepts within the commodities sector.
- Experience in the commodities market, ideally with exposure to precious metals leasing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software is advantageous.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
