Job Title: Warehouse Operations Assistant (Christmas)

The festive season at Boots is one of our most exciting and important times of the year, and it simply couldn\'t happen without the energy and dedication of our warehouse team. As a Warehouse Operations Assistant, you\'ll be at the heart of the action, ensuring every customer receives the high-end festive experience they love and deserve.

This role is a great opportunity whether you\'re just starting out in your career or have retail or warehouse experience and want a fresh challenge. If you enjoy meeting personal goals and being part of a supportive team, this is the position for you. While this is a temporary contract, there may be potential for a permanent role later depending on opportunities in your local area.

Responsibilities

  • Drive stock between the warehouse and Boots stores
  • Unpack and replenish stock
  • Load and dispatch goods

What you’ll need to have

  • Able to Drive: You need to hold a valid full UK Driving Licence
  • Speed & Accuracy: You need to enjoy following process, working quickly whilst staying precise
  • Physical Stamina: You\'\'ll be on your feet, standing, walking, lifting and driving. If you\'\'re ready to stay busy and active, this is the role for you!
  • Availability: You need to be able to work early start times and weekends
  • Tech-Savvy: You need to be comfortable learning about and using new technology, including handheld mobile devices
  • Adaptable: You need to excel in a varied environment where priorities change to suit the flow of work in the warehouse
  • Safety-Minded: You need to maintain a safety-focused mindset and understand the importance of following health and safety procedures
