Channel Account Manager, DELL (UKI)

DescriptionPosition at Absolute SoftwareWe are currently looking for a results-driven, self-motivated Channel Development Manager to join our Absolute team serving the Dell UK/Ireland and other Dell EMEA markets.Accountabilities Will Include: Coordinate Sales efforts between Absolute and Dell UK/I Sales teams to achieve assigned sales goals and growth targets Provide pre-sales assistance to Absolute and Dell account managers via phone, e-mail and/or in person, responding to sales requests and/or inquiries in a timely manner Develop relationships and evangelize Absolute solutions with Dell inside and field sales organizations Assist Absolute and Dell in optimizing sales closure during EOQ activities Plan and execute go-to-marketing strategies; including but not limited to: Management Meetings Sales Trainings Floor Days Team Huddles Planning Meetings Quarterly Business Reviews Achieve channel sales and revenue goals by ensuring that all channel programs are operating efficiently and maximizing their effectiveness Training and enabling channel partners toward high performance by creating and driving enablement activities Prepare and communicate weekly, monthly partner status reports, including weekly pipeline reports and sales engagement status Continually drives program improvement based on input from field and knowledge of other industry channel programsWhat You'll Need: Must be able to take on, and manage, projects based on requirements of Absolute Software's developing business Expected experience in IT and/or PC business would be 5+ years Proven history of being able to work independently and with cross-functional teams to achieve company and departmental objectives Strong business acumen and capable of developing and managing multiple initiatives with the partner Ability to discuss technical software capabilities and features from a functional and architectural level.
