AWS – Presales Sales – B&CM (Engine+) Manager

About The Role Join our UK Alliances team at the forefront of tech-enabled transformation, where we drive growth by partnering closely with industry leaders like AWS. As a Presales Sales Manager focused on Banking & Capital Markets, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding strategic alliance relationships, converting opportunities into large-scale transformation programmes.

This is a deal-focused, pre-sales leadership position, responsible for building pipeline, securing wins, and driving ARR growth while collaborating across alliance, regional and global teams. It’s an opportunity for a high-performing, entrepreneurial sales leader to help scale a best-in-class function and deliver impactful, complex transformations.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Execute the AWS Alliance strategy to drive market growth, revenue and expanded service offerings across the UK firm.
  • Build and manage pipeline by identifying joint opportunities, shaping deals, and defining winning strategies with internal and AWS teams.
  • Lead go-to-market activity, aligning solutions with firmwide strategy and driving demand through sales, marketing and client engagement.
  • Strengthen partnerships and governance by collaborating across teams, maintaining partner standards, and ensuring alignment, compliance and ongoing performance.
This Role Is For You If
  • An effective communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate and engage a wide range of stakeholders in complex, matrix environments.
  • A commercially minded professional with sound business judgement, risk awareness and experience shaping and closing opportunities.
  • Experienced in selling AWS or broader Cloud, Data and AI solutions, ideally within consulting or professional services environments.
  • Skilled at motivating others, bringing energy and inspiration to teams and partnerships.
  • Curious, innovative and comfortable testing, learning and optimising in a fast-paced environment.
  • In tune with emerging trends, with relevant AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner essential; AI or Security preferred) and a keen eye for new opportunities.
