We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated After School Club Assistant to join our team at Willington Preparatory School, Wimbledon. You'll play a crucial role in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing atmosphere for children in our after-school provision.Hours: Monday - Friday - 15:00 - 18:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play.
- Assist with snack time and meal preparation, ensuring hygiene and dietary needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
- Follow all safeguarding and health & safety policies.
- Assist with accurate record-keeping and reports.
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- A passion for working with children and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- First Aid training or willingness to complete training.
