About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated After School Club Assistant to join our team at Willington Preparatory School, Wimbledon. You'll play a crucial role in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing atmosphere for children in our after-school provision.

Hours: Monday - Friday - 15:00 - 18:00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play.
  • Assist with snack time and meal preparation, ensuring hygiene and dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
  • Follow all safeguarding and health & safety policies.
  • Assist with accurate record-keeping and reports.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Childcare Qualification.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • A passion for working with children and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • First Aid training or willingness to complete training.
